Advancing Food is Medicine Replay: Dr. Stephan van Vliet

Описание: Join the replay of our third Advancing Food is Medicine program. Started in 2024 with programs in Colorado and Tulsa, Oklahoma, this program just outside Oklahoma City brings together, farmers, ranchers, doctors, nutritionists, food system experts, and advocates to learn how we can prevent disease, and create paradigm shifts in our health care and agricultural communities. In the end, we connect the dots between soil health and human health.

Dr. Stephan van Vliet is the Director of the Center for Human Nutrition Studies at Utah State University. Dr. van Vliet’s research is performed at the nexus of agricultural and human health. He routinely collaborates with farmers, ecologists and agricultural scientists to study critical linkages between sustainable agriculture, the nutrient density of food and human health.
