“As an elected member, Pakistan sees the General Assembly as its core constituency. This is Pakistan’s eighth term on the Council, and across these tenures, we have remained committed to advance the purposes and principles of the Charter, respect for international law, peaceful settlement of disputes, and a strong commitment to inclusive and effective multilateralism. We have consistently worked to strengthen transparency, improve working methods, and enhance the responsiveness of the Council to the concerns of the broader membership”.
