Описание: Kick back and watch the RC warbird action at the airfield of Nampa Model Aviators in Nampa, Idaho. I'm Fred Johnsen for the Airailimages Channel. The Nampa club's annual radio-control warbird flying event was September 6, 2025.

Good spirits prevailed over weather that saw rain, clouds, shifting winds, and ultimately too much gusty wind that ended a lot of flying activity by the early afternoon. Sometimes you will see aircraft in this video reflected in pools of water on the runway. But don't judge success by the rapidly changing weather, a hallmark of the Mountain West.

The fliers and their friends and families enjoyed the camaraderie of all who came with an interest in radio-control flying and an amazing variety of scale and nearly-scale warbird aircraft, ranging from under a hundred dollars into thousands of dollars.

The world of RC flying has undergone changes with the availability of ever-more-capable electric aircraft. You can hear the difference between the quieter whine of the electrics versus the old-school roar of fuel-powered engines. Each have their place in RC flight activities. Clean, quiet electrics coincide with growth of this club as more people discover the world of RC flying.

Lunch was available onsite. RC fliers and guests voted for their favorite aircraft in a variety of categories. And watch for the resident red tail hawk soaring with the winds aloft.
