Get your dog used to hopping in and out of the carrier in a safe place that you both chill out in
Include a cosy blanket or dog treat to encourage them to settle before you try heading out with the carrier
Use the trigger hook inside and adjust the length if necessary
You can even use the dog carrier as a handy travel bed on the go by unzipping it all the way, tuck the straps in at the sides under the carrier first
if your pup likes chewing you might want to spray the straps with a bitter apple spray for dogs or similar.
Supervise use at all times
