Описание: If perchance you want to transfer files from a Mac to Windows PC and vice versa using an external hard drive it is imperative to have the external drive formatted in a file system that both OS's (Mac & Windows) can recognise or read and write too preferably Exfat or Ms-Dos FAT32 which is dependent on the file size you wish to transfer. Note: Most external drives purchased will will almost invariably or automatically be formatted in NTFS file system which is a Windows recognisable file system. Macs can only read but not write to a NTFS file system while a Mac OS extended journal formatted harddrive would not be read or displayed when plugged in to a Windows PC or machine. So if you want your external hard drive to be bespoke compatible with both OS's (Mac and Windows then you need to reformat it with MOS fat32 or prefreably Exfat which allows a transfer size greater than 4GB.
