Access to and lack of capital are two problems plaguing the Black entrepreneurial community.
Fifty of the country's top Black women business owners are working together to collectively negotiate their power and close the racial wealth gap with the launch of The Bow Collective. Bow is an acronym that stands for "Black-owned women." The group competes for large-scale contracts in the public and private sectors. Founder Nicole and member Gina Merrit join Sharon Reed on "Start Your Day" to discuss the organization.
