Deutsch: Gerade bei leicht wolkenverhangenem Himmel kann eine Wanderung besonders schön sein, da sich Berge und Landschaft von ihrer mystischen Seite her zeigen. Wir starten von der Pfeiffenmacherbrücke in der Ramsau, Berchtesgadener Land, und wandern über einen Pfad hinauf zur Schärtenalm. Nach einer Pause auf der gut geführten Alm machen wir uns auf zur Blaueishütte, die auf knapp 1800 Meter liegt. Der Weg schenkt uns spektakuläre Ausblicke auf das Alpenpanorama der umliegenden Berge. Über uns sehen wir alsdann den Hochkalter und die Schärtenspitze und darunter auf dem Hochplateau die Blaueishütte, die ihren Namen von dem Gletscher hat, der sich heute nur noch in den oberen Lagen ausbreitet.

Englisch: A hike can be even more exciting with clouds hanging in the sky, as mountains and the landscape show themselves from their mystical side. Our hike starts at the Pfeifenmacherbrücke in the town of Ramsau, area Berchtesgadener Land, and goes up via a trail to the hut „Schärtenalm“. After a break at this nice little mountain inn we start to the so called „Blaueisshütte“ at an altitude of almost 1800 meter. The path gives us stunning and scenic views to the mountains around us. And above us we can already see the massif of Mount Hochkalter and the „Schärtenspitze“ und down at the plateau the mountain inn „Blaueishütte“ which is named after the glacier which nowadays exists only in the higher area.
