What an Amazing experience swimming from Palace Pier past the old pier and then out at Hove lawn.
As we entered the water we saw millions of whitebait swimming around our legs, we could scoop them up with our hands.
The Seagulls were in a frenzy feeding on the fish. And my friends and I couldn’t believe what was happening.
Fish were jumping out of the water slapping us in the phrase landing on us, it was awesome!
I couldn’t resist swimming into the large fish shoals and experiencing the full immersion of being in amongst them.
As We carried on our swim along the coast the fish intensified and the seagulls were even more frenzied.
As we got to our exit point there were absolutely millions of fish.  Whitebait being corralling by mackerel.
They were pushing the whitebait towards the shore - These mackerel are sometimes chased by sea bass and sometimes the odd seal or dolphin. I imagined an Orca following them!
