BVG have a fleet of almost 300 Scania Citywides delivered between 2014 and 2018. Featuring the 320hp engine these have no shortage of power, as such kickdown isn’t really needed. Here I managed to find a driver that at least activated said function, even if the revs aren’t as high as these can give!
With a huge number of Solaris EVs pledged, I imagine these Scanias will be next to fade away from the German capital, no doubt many will spring up across Europe.

This bus was serving the Metrobus M21: S+U Jungfernheide to Rosenthal Nord via Wittenau.
