Grahan the web series directed by Ranjan Chandel that is streaming on Disney plus Hotstar VIP has been garnering a lot of rave reviews, and especially so because of the show’s lead pair Anshumaan Pushkar and Wamiqa Gabbi who play Rishi and Manu in the show, the lovers from the 80s who’s relationship is strongly tested during the 1984 riots against whose backdrop the story is set.
Wamiqa Gabbi and Anshumaan Pushkar have had the pulse of people with their performances. They have impacted everyone so much that people just can’t stop talking about them. Here the actors along with their director have come together for a coffee conversation and they have a freewheeling chat reminiscing the 80s and 90s and an era gone by.
The web show Grahan is based on Bokaro Steel City during the 1984 riots and is a love story of Manu Rishi and also a story of the relationship of a father and daughter Gursevak and Amrita in present day Ranchi.
Grahan songs especially the two original scores composed by Amit Trivedi and written by Varun Grover are being very well received.
