Over the last month, Gary and co. were at the Pitney Farm estate working on meticulously deconstructing the main barn on-premise. Comprised of mostly white oak and chestnut, the barn stood approx 35' tall and was around 100' long, and was rebuilt in 1910 after a fire.
The wood has now been brought back to the Real Antique Wood mill where it will be processed to become wall cladding, mantels, beams and reclaimed flooring. All of these pieces were used more than 100 years ago and will continue to be used for at least another 100 years!
