This is one of the earliest recordings of a live performance from Italy. When Fiorentino started to give pianno courses up and down the country he also played a bit more, almost without exception at smalerl places on less than good pianos in some of the cases. Students started to make recordings with small cassette tape recorders, many of these with automatic level adjustment. So do not exspect high fidelity sound here. Anyway, it might be of interest to know the pianist's playing during those years when he never would have dreamt of appearing once more before bigger audiences outside his native country or even in the US.
