Ingredients to blend coarsely
3 chilies
1 inch shrimp paste
1 inch ginger
5 cloves of garlic
1 onion

Other ingredients
200g Okra
500-800g squid
2 tbsp chili paste
cooking oil
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of water mix with small size tamarind pulp
1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp fish sauce / salt as required

Method
Heat a pan with 2 tbsp oil. Semi fry okra and keep aside. Using the same pan add squid. Stir for 1-2mins and remove. Separately, heat pan with oil. Add blended ingredients and chili paste . Sauté till oil separate. Add water and cook till the sambal dry. Once dried, add tamarind water and cook again till dry. Add oyster sauce, okra and squid. Mix well. Season with salt or fish sauce. Off the flame and enjoy.
