The new characters for Overwatch are conventionally attractive, and it seems there is no coincidence that right after launching the game with characters like that, their player count spiked up to more than double what their max player count was from a few years ago. This, combined with Blizzard's sudden interest in using the developers of The FIrst Descendant to make a new Starcraft game, make it seem likely that Blizzard has seen the light... which is what makes their recent decision to capitulate to the gender mob really baffling.
