She was expected to attend ceremonies, look elegant in kente, and support her husband quietly. She did all of that. But she refused to stop there.

In December 2025, Lady Julia opened Ghana's first purpose-built women's mental health facility — the Eve Medical Center at KNUST in Kumasi. For decades, Ghanaian women suffering from depression, anxiety, and mental health conditions were sent to prayer camps instead of hospitals. Lady Julia changed that.

This documentary tells her story — from the moment Otumfuo first saw her at an Ecobank event in Kumasi, to the hospitals, maternity units, and facilities she's built across Ghana.

The wife of the Asantehene could have been purely ceremonial. Instead, she became revolutionary.
