The National voter education coordinator Benjamin Kimwei explains how the voting process takes place, highlighting the voter's requirements and the steps to take as they elect their preferred candidates.
The polling stations open at 6:00 AM and close at 5: 00 PM.
"A voter who will need assistance will come with an assistant who must be 18 years and above and must have a national identity card. The assistant will be required to sign the oath of secrecy." Benjamin Kimwei
A voter who comes without an assistant will be helped by the Presiding Officer in the presence of agents to witness that the Presiding Officer has made the choice the voter prefers - Benjamin Kimwei
