I finally finished those dang ol custom shaved rocker boxes done, got a new toy, and still complain about the heat.
Note:
Alloy Head torque specs seem to be incredibly controversial. The book lists them at 18/15 ft pds, but previous manuals have been all over the place. Many swear by the book numbers, tho I think 18/15 is too light. I have been doing them at 25/18 for years. Jay Medeiros at Vintage Triumph Supply swears by 24/20 for alloy heads. So I have changed my numbers. Again all the opinions I give in these videos is my own, do what you think is best.
