The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported heavy rainfall (7-11 cm) in isolated spots over Saurashtra & Kutch, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, and Assam & Meghalaya in the last 24 hours.
A low-pressure area over the east-central Bay of Bengal and Myanmar coast is triggering isolated heavy rains in Andaman & Nicobar Islands today, with thunderstorms and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) until Nov 5. Northeast India faces widespread light-to-moderate showers with heavy falls in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya on Nov 2.
A fresh Western Disturbance will hit Western Himalayas from Nov 4, bringing thunderstorms over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh, Rajasthan, Himachal, and Uttarakhand. South Peninsular India expects rains from Nov 4-7.
Temperatures to dip gradually; fishermen warned off Arabian Sea (Gujarat) and Bay of Bengal coasts until Nov 7. Delhi: Clear skies, max 30-32°C, with morning fog.
