Описание:
To achieve the desired compress ratio of 7.5:1, each combustion chamber volume needs to be 100 cc. In Solidworks, I used the intersect feature to create a solid body of each chamber, then 3D printed it.
This shows the fitment of the chamber volume part into the machined chambers of cylinders number 5 and 6. It verifies the volume and the shape.
The engine is a Willys (Continental) L6-226 Super Hurricane making 8 - 10 lb boost at 5000 rpm.
