Part 4: After building and painting my American Coop (Carolina Coops) 6 x 18 foot, we decided to move the chicks out to the hen house. We put in a heat lamp (temps range between 70 and 80 at night), blocked off the egg hutch and left the opening to the run open.
The chickens are doing great! The limerock base has worked perfectly in diverting the rain out of the coop during heavy storms. We added a few water options and sticks for chicken fun.
