Brief History
Buffalo Forge Co. was formed in 1878 to manufacture blacksmith's forges. Upright drilling machines were offered in 1883 and stationary steam engines in 1889. It quickly branched into heating, air conditioning (invented in 1904 by Willis H. Carrier of Buffalo Forge), dust collectors (Buffalo Forge claimed that they invented the cyclonic dust collector), drill presses, plus a combination woodworking machine.

Description: The No. 700 Climax Geared Blower
For those who do not use a forge blower every day, the Buffalo No. 700 offers the greatest value on the market in a high-power, light, unbreakable and inexpensive blower head. Construction is just like the No. 500, except that bronze bushings are used instead of ball bearings. Construction and material first class throughout. Gear ration 47.5 to 1.
