Daffodil Pill – Psychedelic Energy from Wrocław
Daffodil Pill is a four-piece band from Wrocław that began their journey in late 2020. The group consists of Filip Dudek (vocals, keyboards), Dawid Stawiarz (guitar), Mateusz Wróblewski (bass), and Adam Chmura (drums, djembe). Their music is a unique blend of vintage psychedelia, surf rock, and progressive sounds, inspired by the 1960s and 1970s, as well as the modern neo-psychedelic scene, led by bands like Australia’s King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard.

The band quickly gained recognition in Wrocław for their energetic performances, combining music with live analog visuals created by LiquidLure. Their shows are a kaleidoscope of colorful lights, long hair, vibrant outfits, and positive energy, drawing audiences into a psychedelic world.

The group’s first success came with the release of their debut EP, “YUP EP”*, in October 2021, which received warm acclaim. A year later, Daffodil Pill won the *WARTO Award from Gazeta Wyborcza Wrocław in the music category, as well as the title of "Artist of the Year 2022" in a poll by the portal *Polska Muzyka Alternatywna*.

In November 2024, under the Interstellar Smoke Records label, the band released their debut album, recorded and mixed by Marcin Bors at Fonoplastykon Studio.

The lyrics, penned by Filip Dudek, explore a variety of themes—from the joy of life and love to fear, death, mythology, and surreal stories. Their music reflects this diversity, offering an unforgettable experience filled with musical creativity and visual experimentation during their live performances.
