Schezwan Aloo Roll
Servings - 3
INGREDIENTS
Wheat flour - 200 grams
Oil - 1 teaspoon
Water - 140 milliliters
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Green chili - 1 teaspoon
Ginger - 1 teaspoon
Schezwan sauce - 2 tablespoons
Boiled mashed potatoes - 220 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon
Ketchup - 1 teaspoon
Onions - 40 grams
Coriander - 1 tablespoon
Wheat flour - for dusting
Ketchup - 30 grams
Mayonnaise - 30 grams
Grated processed cheese - 30 grams
Coriander - 1 tablespoon
Butter - 20 grams
Red chili - 1 teaspoon
Coriander - 2 tablespoons
PREPARATION
1. In a bowl, add 200 grams wheat flour and 1 teaspoon oil. Mix well using hands.
2. Add 140 milliliters water and knead into a soft dough. Rest for 30 minutes.
3. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan. Add 1 teaspoon gren chili, 1 teaspoon ginger, and 2 tablespoons Schezwan sauce. Sauté for 30 seconds.
4. Add 220 grams boiled mashed potatoes, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon red chili, and 1 teaspoon ketchup. Mix well.
5. Add 40 grams onions and 1 tablespoon coriander. Mix thoroughly and remove from heat. Keep aside.
6. Take a small ball of dough, dust with flour, and roll into a flat chapati.
7. Place on hot pan and cook for 1 - 2 minutes. Flip gently and cook until golden brown on both sides.
8. Remove from pan and place on a board. Spread ketchup and mayonnaise over the chapati. Add the prepared potato mixture, grated cheese, and coriander. Fold gently to form a roll.
9. Heat butter in a pan, add red chili and coriander. Mix well. Place the roll in the pan and cook on all sides until golden brown. Remove from pan.
10. Serve hot.
