Описание: The second phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) hearing process has officially commenced at the Asansol SDO Office. Large crowds of residents were seen queuing up since morning to participate in the verification process.
District Magistrate S. Ponnambalam had previously announced that this phase is specifically for voters whose names were not mapped in the 2002 voter list or those with pending enumeration forms. Total 42 hearing centers have been set up across 9 assembly constituencies in West Burdwan to facilitate nearly 1.40 lakh voters.

Hearing Period: Started Saturday, December 27th (continues till Feb 7th).
Final Voter List Publication: February 14th.
