With numerous iconic roles in movies such as "Becket," "The Lion in Winter," and "My Favorite Year," O'Toole received an Academy Honorary Award in 2002. His accolades also include four Golden Globe Awards, one BAFTA Award for Best British Actor, and one Primetime Emmy Award. However, not everyone appreciated O'Toole's charm. Actress Diane Kruger found her experience working with him on the film "Troy" to be highly unpleasant due to his inebriated state. O'Toole was also known for his wild nights with fellow actors Richard Harris, Elizabeth Taylor, and Richard Burton.
