The DFS-12 seal leakage and over temperature protection relay protects submersible pump motors against seal leakage and over temperature damage.

When DFS-12 detects a seal leak the pump shuts down and the SEAL LEAKAGE LED turns ON. The seal leakage sensitivity is user-adjustable (recommended between 5K and 100K ohms). If over temperature is detected it will also shut down the pump and indicate the fault with the OVER HEAT LED. This device is dual voltage (it can be used with 120V or 220V). It also has an isolated output contact relay SPDT 10A for seal leakage and over temperature. The relay output can be used to shut down the pump and to give an alarm indication of the fault. The DFS-12 can be set to reset manually or automatically after the fault condition clears.
