1) Murder on Astor Place, the first in the gaslight series by Victoria Thompson for mystery 
2) A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly this is a YA historical fiction base on a true murder in the Adirondack’s mountains that the book American Tragedy was written about
3) Survival of the Fritters, Deputy Donut series by Ginger Bolton of course cozy mystery 
4) The Unlocked Path by Janis Robinson Daly historical fiction about one of the first female to go to medical school
5) When the World Fell Silent by Donna Jones Alward. About a ship explosion in Halifax Canada 1917. 
6) Theodore Boone Kid Lawyer by John Grisham the first middle grade I read that Storm suggested to me.
7) I have to say all the J A Jance books, but especially J P Beaumont series 
8) Miss Benson Beetle by Rachel Joyce just loved it
9) Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt
