This song is dear to our hearts, since it used to be the lullaby song for my girls.
I remember lullabying my babies with this song, sometimes singing it ten times until they fell asleep.
I would change the line “My friend, make your choice, He waits for you” to “My child, make your choice, He waits for you.”
My husband would sing this song and play the ukulele for the girls too.
May this song be an invitation to us all to walk with the Lord.
