Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made using HaxeFlixel and originally created for Ludum Dare 47 by ninjamuffin99, PhantomArcade, Kawai Sprite and evilsk8r. Currently developed by The Funkin' Crew, the game can be played via Newgrounds or downloaded for free on desktop on itch.io, or on mobile devices on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Friday Night Funkin': Corruption, also known simply as Corruption or alternatively as Evil Mod, is a Friday Night Funkin' mod created by Phantom Fear. Inspired by the Christmas tree decoration in the original game's Winter Horrorland, the mod imagines a disease outbreak that turns the infected into dark, shadowy monsters. Updates on the mod's ongoing development are released as a video series on YouTube; as of June 2024, the series spans 29 episodes.

Currently, three playable demos have been released for the mod: the Spooky Kids Demo that covers Week 2, the Senpai Demo that covers Week 4, and the Null Demo that covers Week 9.

Soul Boyfriend is a major ally in Corruption. He is the opponent of Week 6, where he helps Boyfriend break free of the Corruption. He also appears in Estranged as a translucent silhouette to aid Boyfriend regain his composure.
