In recent years, more & more research is demonstrating a relationship with sleep deprivation and risk factors for weight gain. These factors are both direct & indirect biological and behavioral consequences of chronically getting poor sleep. It may surprise many, but some of these biological changes can even be detected with a single night to a few days worth of sleep deprivation. Watch this video to learn about potential changes in your hunger hormones, insulin, cortisol, & testosterone and how these could affect your dietary habits and overall fitness activities.
