This video shows a possible strategy on how to beat the A Formal Match side mission.
Try to avoid the charge attack of the obsidian samurai and then hit him from behind.
Basically you have to stay away fromn him , dodge his attacks an then hit him.
In order to make things easier use poisoned shuriken at the start of the battle.
If you use 5 you will poison him.
