Raul Aguilar, Auror Head of Law Enforcement Partnerships, Americas, and former lead of the National Initiative on Organized Retail Crime at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), shared a case that shows what can happen when retailers, federal agencies, and law enforcement partner together on a federal case.

A retail crime investigation in Chicago built on intelligence shared between retailers and the DHS became a four-state takedown. The results were significant: Multiple box trucks of seized merchandise, SRT search warrants, and an airplane seized in another state linked to the criminal network.

What made it possible: retailers, federal law enforcement, and state attorneys all worked together using shared intelligence to solve the case.
