The inflation reduction act which has reduced the coverage gap costs for folks and offered 35 dollar copays for ALL insulin (brand and generic) is also a part of this act as well as next year the inflation reduction act has set a maximum out of pocket on an individuals drug cost at 2000 dollars so for those folks on ozempic, eliquis and other brand name drugs once you spend 2000 in one year on your drugs you are done paying.
