Chapter 9, Episode 1: In chapter 9 of our video series, 'Data Act Unlocked', we explore the topics of enforcement and implementation in Germany. In these two episodes, you will learn how the Data Act is enforced at the EU level, and the role of national authorities. We explain the responsibilities, appeal procedures and sanctions, including those applicable to companies outside the EU. We also demonstrate how Germany is implementing the Data Act and the powers that will be granted to the German Federal Network Agency in this regard.
In episode 1, we shed light on the enforcement of the Data Act. We will explain the Data Act's enforcement regulations, introduce the relevant authorities and demonstrate how complaints are handled, as well as the obligations that apply to companies outside the EU.
