Emiliana's Review: I watched "The Deadly Cure" (Season 5, Episode 5) for the very first time on German television in the late 1980s when I was a teen. Back then I already got hooked on suspense thriller films like Coma (1978) that take place in hospitals as a set. There is something about those places that works well with horror and thriller themes to this day. Aside of that, I genrally enjoy watching those classic movies and tv series that were made around my birthyear 1977. This episode in particular is one of my favorite ones from the McMillan & Wife crime investigation series that ran from 1971 to 1977! Today it has its small cult fanbase, including myself, same as the Columbo series.

Plot: Commissioner McMillan is the only witness to a homicide committed in a San Francisco hospital, but the absence of evidence casts doubt on whether the crime really took place.
