Bali was one of the first Insta-famous locations. The island is beautiful, and once photos of the landscape became popular people the world over started to drool about going to Bali. If you're an avid traveler, amateur photographer, or travel influencer chances are you've thought about going to Bali, too.

At first I didn't want to go to Bali. As an amateur travel Instagram influencer I was afraid the island would be too crowded for great pictures, and that the culture would be too diluted to enjoy. I definitely prefer to actually have fun and get some pictures in instead of pretending to have fun for hours of photos!

We soon found that there is so much to do and so many Bali Instagram spots! We went snorkeling at Liberty ship wreck, got great Insta pics at infinity pools, visited the Tegallalang rice terraces, Ubud's art market, Lempuyang white temple, Tirta Gangga water palace, and more.

I'm sharing my Bali Instagram tips with you! Some places are easier to get the perfect Instagram shot than others, but it's always possible. The key to great Instagram Bali pics is to hold your camera at the right angle and wait for no people around. That may mean waking up early or being patient for a break in tourists, but if you really want that perfect shot it's totally possible!
