It has been our pleasure to create promotional videos for the The Great Dickens Christmas Fair, now in its 36th Season, for the past eight years.
In 2015, we started on an extended journey to the making of this short documentary. We are quite proud of it and hope you enjoy this look at a part of the fair that few witness...a look behind the curtain. Actually, it starts with a look at how the walls and curtains are made!

Each year, three acres of bare metal and asphalt exhibition halls at the historic Cow Palace are completely transformed – over the course of three short weeks – into a bustling Victorian holiday wonderland, complete with lamplit winding lanes, folksy English pubs, curtain-draped theatres and dance floors, and 100 lavishly decorated shops. Enjoy this special inside look at the annual re-creation of a Bay Area holiday tradition beloved by all ages!
