In this video we show what issues you may have building decks from Timbertech. The main issue is that in some areas the gaps between decks got filled with dirt and water doesn't drain through the gaps and stays on the deck.
The second issue is that stains from leaves and dirt don't come off with pressure washing. In our opinion the best material to build decks from is tone treated pressure treated wood that looks like stained wood, but you don't have to stain it. Low maintenance decking cost 2-3 times more than tone treated decking and about 30% more expensive to install.
