Indians are advised to leave Afghanistan; no plans to shut the Embassy in Kabul: MEA

India has issued an advisory for Indian nationals to leave Afghanistan through commercial means and there is no formal evacuation mechanism, Ministry of External Affairs said on Thursday. MEA spoksperson said, "We'd request Indian nationals who happen to be in Afghanistan even now to look at ways to come back at the earliest while commercial flights are going on ... No plans to shut Indian Embassy in Kabul."
