Michael Corleone Blanco, son of infamous drug lord Griselda Blanco, shed light on his past following his family's drug-trafficking business and the intense fear and peril that came along with it. He spent a year hiding in Medellin and contemplating starting over the business. After the death of his brother, a desperate Michael considered reviving the drug trafficking business in Spain, Monte Carlo, and other places. He eventually chose to exit the dangerous lifestyle, but not before he'd realized the extent of trouble he was attracting from other powerful individuals.
In 2004, Blanco’s mother, Griselda, was released from prison and deported back to Colombia. Coincidentally, on the same day of her release, her hitman, Rivi, who had betrayed her, got stabbed seven times. Blanco stressed it was just a coincidence and no order was given by his mother for such reprisal. It emerged Rivi had been attacked by some inmates whose brother he had previously killed in prison.
