To ensure top quality and long-term durability, our color-coated coils (PPGI/PPGL) undergo a series of rigorous performance tests. Key testing parameters include:
Coating Thickness: The total thickness of the primer and topcoat is a minimum of 20μm, measured according to ISO 2808 or ASTM D7091, with strict uniformity controls.
Adhesion: Excellent adhesion is confirmed through cross-cut tests (rating 0-1) and T-bend tests (0T-2T), ensuring the coating does not crack or peel.
Weathering & Corrosion Resistance: Superior durability is verified by salt spray testing (≥500 hours without red rust, or ≥1000 hours for PVDF coatings) and UV aging tests that simulate 10 years of outdoor exposure with minimal color change (ΔE≤1.5).
Color & Gloss: Color difference (ΔE) is controlled within 1.5 compared to standard RAL or Pantone references, and gloss uniformity is maintained at a 60° measurement angle.
