The State Capture Commission today heard evidence related to Eskom from former Glencore CEO, Clinton Ephron. Glencore had sold the Optimum Mine to Gupta company, Tegeta, in late 2015. Optimum had been supplying coal to Eskom and the Tegeta deal was said to be heavily influenced by political role players at the time.
