The GlassBuddy® Plus analyses flat glass precisely and non-destructively. Within seconds, the measuring device provides information on glass thickness, pane structure, coatings and their position. Some fire protection gels can also be detected.
The analysis of single glass, laminated glass, and double and triple insulating glass is possible without any problems. Depending on the space between the panes, GlassBuddy® Plus can analyse a structure of max. 100 mm. Not measurable or only measurable to a limited extent are satinised/blasted glass, ornamental glass, laminated glass with matt or heavily coloured film, interference-coated glass and highly reflective glass. Fire protection gels from 1.4 mm - 3.2 mm are displayed as "Gel", whereas from 3.9 mm - 7.0 mm they are displayed as "Layer".
