Today we’re starting a new project! While I wait for parts to arrive to start building a DIY metal 3D printer, we’ll jump ahead and start building a DIY CO2 laser cutting/engraving machine. I'm going all out to make this DIY machine comparable to any high-end CO2 laser on the market. I'm using AC servo motors for crazy fast engraving speeds and I'm using a 60W RF laser tube for precision engraving.
