My 5 Least Favorite Final Fantasy Games

In this video, I'm doing the polar opposite of my "5 Best Final Fantasies" list—I am diving into the games that, despite their strengths, just didn't quite hit the mark. As a huge JRPG, especially a Final Fantasy fan, it's tough to critique these titles, but all franchises have rough spots.

I'll be looking at mainline entries (mostly). I'm going to also highlight the redeeming qualities that make these games worth discussing and potentially worth playing. Every Final Fantasy game has great features, and we'll shine a spotlight on them!

🎮 Games Discussed (My Least Favorites):
1. A mature-rated title that was originally a PSP port—it had amazing character variety but a confusing story and nauseating camera issues.

2. The follow-up to one of the most beloved entries—it features a military academy setting, an unforgettable card game, but a controversial level-scaling and combat system.

3. The direct sequel to one of my favorite games—it offers a fantastic job system and a change in tone, but a divisive new direction for one of the franchise's best mini-games.

4. The final installment of an overwhelmingly long trilogy—it combines two different battle/job mechanics beautifully but is hindered by an annoying time management system.

5. A huge open-world action RPG that suffered from a troubled development—it delivers a stunning world and satisfying action combat but a fragmented story requiring outside media.
