The Knights jumped out to an early 7-0 lead but Mount Miguel responded and led at the first quarter break 22-21. Foothills Christian has good guard play, has a young but big inside presence and if the Knights can connect from long distance it is difficult to beat the Knights; the Knights were dialing long distance all night long and the connection was made most of the time. Matador's Izzy Wagner '13 got his points including a dunk (2:40) but the shooting by Foothills Christian was too much to overcome as the visiting Knights easily won this non-league game 85-76. Mount Miguel made a late run to make the final score closer than the game was for most of the second half.
