This was sung during our church's live stream service during lockdown.

"Worthy" is a song based on the Book of Revelation. It is a song inspired by the worship going on in heaven. The beautiful thing about what we have to offer as people here on earth, which the angels around the throne can't actually offer God, is that angels can't make their offering of praise and worship to God from a redeemed place. What we get to offer God in our worship is unique. The angels didn't need to be saved from something. You and I have been redeemed and forgiven of our sins. We get to bring something unique from us, an offering coming from a place of knowing what we've been saved from.

Psalm 95:1-3 (KJV): "Come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods."

Revelation 5:12 (ESV): "Saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain; To receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honour and glory and blessing!
