Yamaha has absolutely nailed the sampling of the Hank Marvin Fender Strat Sound using the WEM (Watkins Electric Music) tape echo chamber.
In this composition I aimed to bring out the lower register guitar string sound and then the upper register guitar string sound and Yamaha sampled the compete registers perfectly. I grew up with Hank Marvin and the Shadows and when I was in my youth which was sometime ago I was in a Bass, Rhythm & Lead guitars and drums band and we played some of the well known shadows compositions like Apache, F.B.I. and a few others which I’m certain most people will know. Maybe I will have a go at playing one of these on the Yamaha Genos. If you’re in the market and considering an arranger keyboard the Yamaha Genos is so, so good, I would have no hesitation in recommending this amazing arranger keyboard, you will not be disappointed.
