In this lecture Sheikh Abdul Jalil speaks about the divine gifts Allah swt has given Imam Husayn A.S and no one else because of his sacrifice and status. Companions of Prophets in the Quran, There were no companions like companions of Imam Husayn in Karbala. We see companions of Noah, companions of Prophet David in the story of Goliath, companions of Prophet lut, including Prophet Muhammad's A.S companions all from the Quran. Another gift is Arbaeen of Imam Husayn from hadith explained by Imam Askari. No Imam has as many Ziyarat like Imam Husayn. Allah swt has commanded that the love of Imam Husayn must be in the hearts of believers otherwise they are not true believers.Crying for Imam Huysan Allah swt has given us many blessings. Allah swt put shaafa / cure in his Turbah and chose prostrating on the earth of Karbala as a blessing. The lineage of Imamah continues from Imam Husayn.

This lecture series was during the month of Muharram in which the commemoration/mourning of Imam Hussain ibn Ali, the grandson of Muhammad A.S, martyrdom takes place in Karbala with his family. The themes of these lectures will surround this event, and near the end of lectures he speaks about its history. It gets very emotional with lots of crying when the retelling of Karbala happens because people are mourning as well.

In Shia Islam that hand symbol is a decoration usually used on pulpits or banners in East Africa & South East Asia. This hand symbolizes the special 5 whom God loves dearly: Prophet Muhammad A.S Fatima A.S Ali A.S Hasan A.S & Hussain A.S. You probably refer to them as Hadith Kisa or from Quran 33:33. Their names and the quranic verses are usually on it.
