Urban Fishing III - Downtown Golden

Описание: I went fishing alone on a snowy day along Clear Creek in Golden, Colorado. What most people overlook as a small urban stream is actually the reason Golden exists. Clear Creek was founded during the Colorado Gold Rush of 1859, and today it still holds trout right through town.

With snow coming down and very little pressure on the water, I worked my way through different sections of the creek and managed to catch a few brown trout. Urban trout fishing like this is always rewarding.

Clear Creek is also a great example of what’s possible when rivers are given a chance to recover. From its gold rush origins to modern restoration efforts, this creek shows that wild trout can thrive even in the middle of a city.
